Who We Are
The Sunday Odejide Memorial Foundation, founded in February 2023, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to raising awareness about sickle cell disease and providing vocational training to individuals who carry the disease and those who are less fortunate in our community. Through the collective efforts of philanthropic individuals, experts, and volunteers, our aim is to facilitate enduring positive transformations in our communities, allowing the less privileged and sickle cell carriers to achieve greater independence and sustainability.
Our Mission

Our mission is to champion the rights of individuals impacted by sickle cell conditions and support community-based organizations in enhancing the overall quality of life while promoting public awareness. We are committed to providing free vocational skills training to both sickle cell carriers and less privileged individuals within the community. Our objective is to offer a diverse array of vocational learning opportunities, enabling participants to acquire industry-recognized skills in areas like catering, tailoring, carpentry, bricklaying, barbering, and more, all within a one- to two-year timeframe.
